Music Theory
Being called a musician goes beyond the practical element and derives from a theoretical foundation that has existed for as long as the sound of music has existed.
Arcadia Academy of Music honours this rich history and recognizes the importance of Music Theory in the development of a music student’s musicianship and prowess on the instrument. With this, we offer numerous theory courses based on the curriculum of the Royal Conservatory of Music that is proven to be:
- An enhancement to learning an instrument
- Development of life skills like critical thinking, problem solving and self-discipline and the ability to be even more focused
By the end of journey, learn how to teach and share the same passion with other students through our elite teaching program.
OUR PROGRAMS ALSO PROVIDE STUDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Participate in large-scale performances.
- Perform at Arcadia’s many community events on a regular basis.
- Access the GTA’s coolest Broadcast stage
- Attend Clinics, Masterclasses, and Jam Nights
- Access the Arcadia Rocks band program. Arcadia’s Band Program empowers and electrifies students to come together, create music and confidently hit the stage with their own band identity while having fun and honing their instrument.
- Register in our elite teaching program to learn how to pass on the magic and passion of understanding music theory to students.
